Beginner student registration for 2026-27 beginner program begins April 25, 2026 and closes September 10, 2026.

Intermediate and Advanced Students New to DCYOP are accepted each semester through an audition process to ensure proper placement into one of 10 ensembles. Auditions for Fall 2026 will be held in-person on August 15 and August 22nd at Takoma Elementary School. 

CANTOS International Choral Forum, taking place on November 5-8, 2026 in Alexandria, Egypt, is a pioneering platform for international choral exchange, connecting voices, cultures, and communities across the Arab and African regions and the wider world.

This is an international festival and educational program envisioned as a bridge between the choral movements of the Global North and Global South, fostering artistic exchange, intercultural dialogue, and shared musical experiences.
