The District of Columbia Music Education Association (DCMEA) is dedicated to advancing and advocating for equitable, high-quality access to music education for every student and teacher in Washington, D.C. As a federated state affiliate of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), we provide support for DC-based music educators through arts advocacy, professional learning, collaboration, community partnerships, and student performance opportunities.
