

The Washington DC Music Educators Association seeks Session Proposals and Performance Applications for both its Fall and Winter Professional Development Conferences during the 2026-2027 academic year. Our Winter Conferences will also include research/poster sessions.
Submissions will be accepted through Saturday June 20, 2026.
This process will be for consideration of sessions/poster sessions for all conference events in the 2026-2027 year.
Conference Timeline
April/May: Call for Proposals & Performance Application Window
June 20, 2026: Submission Window Closes
June 25: Notification of Selected Presenters/Performers
August/September: Presenters/Performers Confirm/Register/Join/Renew (both conferences)
October 2026: Fall Conference (FINAL DATE/LOCATION IN OCTOBER TBD)
January 2027: Winter Conference with research/poster sessions (FINAL DATE/LOCATION IN JANUARY 2027 TBD)
