DCMEA'S WINTER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE AT CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY ON JANUARY 10-11, 2025
DCMEA is proud to announce our finalized session list for our January 10-11 conference at Catholic University (SESSION LIST HERE). This conference will feature more than 50 presentations (many of these presentations will be facilitated by DC music teachers), fabulous performances from DC based groups such as our headliner DC's Different Drummers, the Tidal Wave Go-Go Band, Georgetown Visitation Preparatory Chorus, and more. There will be a DCMEA sponsored happy hour on Friday, food trucks on both days, and vendors and partner organizations on both days of this conference.

"You can search songs, and it will give you the melody notes, piano keys, chords, chord functions and roman numerals, and piano and guitar chord diagrams for the songs in its database. It will also overlay the Youtube audio of a song with the chords and melody, and highlight the notes and chords as the song plays. You can even transpose the song. And that's just the database, which is a secondary feature. The software is a composition program, where you can write songs with just the melody and chords.
